Keppel is committed to uplift communities wherever it operates . With volunteerism as a key thrust of the group’s community engagement programmes, August has been designated Keppel Community Month. During this month, Keppelites rally behind good causes that make a positive impact on people in need and the environment.
In conjunction with the World Environment Day held annually on 5 June, Keppel Land partnered the North West Community Development Council (CDC) to host over 40 residents residing in rental blocks at Gambas Division on an excursion to the Lee Kong Chian National History Museum on 3 June 2017.

The Company adopts a multi -faceted approach to corporate social responsibility. The months of March and April 2017 saw the Keppel Land group supporting various environmental initiatives.
As a firm believer of doing well and doing good, Keppel Land constantly gives back to the communities where itoperates. In line with this, Keppel Land China is developing an eco-programme which includes the planning of an eco-map for the Sheshan area.
Located within the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the Keppel Discovery Wetlands is the first project in Southeast Asia to recreate a freshwater swamp forest. Officially opened by the Prime Minister of Singapore, Mr Lee Hsien Loong, on 31 March 2017, the venue allows members of the public to experience this unique natural habitat in the heart of the city for the very first time.
