Keppel endeavours to do well and do good. In Tianjin, volunteers from Keppel Land China have been actively contributing to the community since August 2013, which was designated Keppel Community Month in conjunction with Keppel Corporation’s 45th Anniversary.
Close to 500 participants gathered at the Sheshan precinct in Shanghai for a charity run on 16 April 2016 to raise over RMB 220,000 for children suffering from critical illnesses such as leukemia and haemophilia, as well as their families.
As part of a project by the Centre for Governance, Institutions and Organisations at National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School and ASEAN CSR Network, five teams of NUS students presented their findings on the state of Sustainability Reporting in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand to a group of industry panellists on 25 February 2016. Among the panellists was Ms Serena Toh, GM, Corporate Services and CSR at Keppel Land, who also shared insights into the Company’s sustainability journey and reporting process with the students.
Keppel Land strives to contribute positively to the communities wherever it operates. Over the months of November and December 2015, staff in Singapore, Vietnam and Myanmar organised activities to bring smiles to the less fortunate.
To promote a healthy lifestyle and engage the local community, Keppel Land China is jointly organising a charity run with the People’s Government of Sheshan Town and the Shanghai Charity Foundation on 16 April 2016.
