Keppel Land continues to be recognised as a leader in sustainability and product excellence.


Keppel Land received Special Recognition for Land Use, Biodiversity and Environment at the Sustainable Business Awards on 31 July 2017. The awards, organised by Global Initiatives in partnership with PwC Singapore, aim to raise the awareness of sustainable business and show how good practices benefit companies, the environment and society.


In September, Keppel Land topped four categories, namely, the Global/ Developer/Residential, Developer/ Residential, Asia Pacific/Residential and Asia/Developer categories in the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) 2017.

The Company also maintained its third position globally among developers.

In the same listing, Keppel REIT, managed by Keppel REIT Management, is ranked second of 13 in Asia among listed office entities, and third among 52 Asian listed companies. Keppel Land is a sponsor of Keppel REIT.

GRESB assesses the sustainability performance of property companies and real estate funds globally on its integrated organisational approach and performance in environmental measurement and management.

Companies are evaluated on seven aspects of sustainability, including information on performance indicators such as energy, greenhouse gas emissions, water and waste.


Keppel Land clinched a total of nine awards at Euromoney Real Estate Awards 2017. This is the highest number of awards that Keppel Land has won to-date.

In Myanmar, the Company was named Best Overall Developer, Best Residential Developer, Best Office/ Business Developer, Best Leisure/Hotel Developer as well as Best Mixed-Use Developer. Keppel Land was also named Best Residential Developer and Best Office/Business Developer in Vietnam, Best Office/Business Developer in Indonesia and Best Leisure/Hotel Developer in Singapore.

In its 13th edition, the Awards recognises the best in the global real estate industry. Results were based on an annual real estate survey among real estate developers, advisors, financial institutions, investors and corporate end users worldwide. A total of 2,462 valid responses were received from 1,218 firms in 75 countries.
